Although beer remains US best-selling drink, the annual report from the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States issued on Monday, suggests that this situation might change sooner than expected.

The report notably pointed out the surge in exports, improved marketing, legalization of Sunday liquor sales, new flavors and an improving economy, that helped a 4% increase in spirits sales to US$19.92 billion.

I am looking for 5 x mobile start-ups who are truly bootstrapping their start-up efforts to be sponsored to attend Mobicamp. Ideally they are very early stage so they have yet to receive any support or funding from sources like CTI. I am aware of 2 currently - Spokal & Kliq but am sure there are lots more!
